Hong Kong is a metropolitan city, the people around the world come to Hong Kong. We find that there is a large amount of neon lights in HK. Is it the main factor that attracts people to come?
We suppose that neon light promotes the tourism. And help the economic development but we know that there are costs behind consumption such as causing light pollution, air pollution, global warming or causing harmful effect to human.
Therefore, we set up our research question “Should we reduce the no. of neon lights in Hong Kong?” to find out whether it is worth using a large amount of neon lights to attract tourists. By comparing the good and bad effects, we want to consider whether the drawbacks outweigh the advantages. And draw a conclusion whether we should reduce the number of neon lights or not. As well as finding out some suitable solutions to get a balance in it.
